Bye 2012…

2012 has been an interesting year for me both in the personal and professional aspect. I have learned great lessons, meet new people, finish my master studies, started a new job, started to learn a new language, visited new places (went to Egypt and Italy for the very first time); I have shared unforgettable moments with friends and family; also I have learned how to flip a Spanish Tortilla de Patatas, and have mastered the difficult tortilla technique; I have as well sailed for the first time and got some of my photos exposed at a photography exhibition.

As you can see I finished and started/experienced new things in 2012. I also re-started to eat healthier and go to the gym, to blog more – which I left for some months due to my thesis – and to take better photos, mostly because I have got a new camera at the beginning of the year and my boyfriend Mario taught me new techniques.

Something I am really happy for 2012 is to have shared all this ‘virgin experiences’ with Mario; he has not only been my partner in crime and fellow adventurer, but my emotional support and strength in many, many things! He is not only my love but my best friend. That I am very thankful for…

I’m about to shed a tear of happiness, satisfaction, and some nostalgia for 2012 had been a good year to me and my family (both here in the Netherlands and back in Brazil: mom, dad and my brother). I hope to continue with the learning experience this coming year; I wish to be healthy so I continue traveling and adventuring with Mario and friends; I hope to see my family once again very soon, because I miss them very much; I long for 2013 to be a year of exploration and discovery; I wish to keep sharing with you…

May 2013 be a wonderful year for you all. Don’t stop and keep moving!

Happy New Year!
